For the first time in the UK, thousands of pupils will join together - across schools, cities, and counties — in a shared 30-minute live yoga session on International Yoga Day. Led by a specialist yoga teacher and broadcast directly into classrooms, this is not a recording: it is a moment of genuine collective presence, uniting children in movement, breath, and stillness.
At Avanti, wellbeing is not an add-on to education — it is central to it. This event gives that belief a living, breathing form.

Diwali — the Festival of Light — is more than a celebration. It is an invitation to ask what light means: where it comes from, what it illuminates, and what we owe one another in the darkness. The Avanti Diwali Gala uses that
ancient symbolism to bring together the people who shape British education - leaders, policymakers, donors, and community figures
- for an evening of beauty, reflection, and honest conversation.
