Key Stage 5 Curriculum

The curriculum will continue to build on the principles already mentioned, both in terms of the range and diversity of the offer and the construction of bespoke programmes for individual students. There will be a major focus on university entrance requirements, both nationally and internationally, including Oxbridge entry, and a growing emphasis on financial awareness and work-readiness skills.

The curriculum will draw on key aspects of the International Baccalaureate and there will be an enhanced programme of educational visits, staff and student exchanges and cultural experiences. All students will be required to complete an extended study in Year 12 on a topic guided by both their academic tutor and external coach, as well as a period of community service in the local area to instil an understanding of their responsibility not only to draw from, but also to give back to and invest in the local, national and international community.
